Ram Update?
I have a Dell Inspiron 3195 laptop. It is painfully slow with only 4gb DDr. I want to know if I can upgrade the memory to something that will make my laptop more usable.

Is it a 2-in-1, both Dell and Crucial said you can go up to 8 GB on single slot.

@Chino de Oro I'm not sure what a 2-in-1 is. i just have the model that's on the bottom. It's one of those where the lid can flip all the way over so it can stand up by itself. Thank you for your response.
Update: I just went back to Amazon where I purchased this laptop and it says it's a Flagship Dell Inspiron 11 3195 2 in 1 Laptop 11.6 HD Touchscreen Display 7th Generation AMD A9-9420e Proccessor 8GB Ram, 128GB eMMC Radeon R5 Graphics HDMI WIFI Bluetooth Win 10. That's a LONG description.
Apparently, it already has 8GB Ram. Can that be replaced with 16GB Ram? I've only used it a few times (Prefer my all in one Dell desktop) because it is so slow. Sorry to ask so many questions. I'm an 86 year old female and just trying to figure out this laptop.

Since you have a 2-in-1, follow the first link from my previous post and you will find the system specifications including the maximum memory capacity. If your system has only 4 GB memory, you could follow the second link to source 8 GB for upgrade. But, if you already have the maximum 8 GB, it can not be upgraded any higher.
