re Studio 1535 and Bluetooth
My Studio 1535, updated to Win 10 and new SSD was working quite well for a 12yo laptop until this AM when Bluetooth quit. Dell Bluetooth mini mouse was connected but scroll wheel did not function so I thought I'd reinstall mouse. There was no Bluetooth Icon in system tray, but Bluetooth light was on.
Now I cannot get Bluetooth to turn on. Self test says there is no Bluetooth device in computer, but Bluetooth light is on.
WIFI works fine.
Bluetooth does not appear in device manager, even with show hidden devices checked.
I've tried, Function + F2, Control + F2
Complete shut down and restart with battery removal.
Turning wireless switch off and on.
System restore to a few weeks ago.
Uninstalling Dell wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN minicard and restarting.
WIFI still works. Just no Bluetooth - I'd like it to work for streaming music.
Any suggestions?

It may be the WLAN card (of which the bluetooth is part) needs to be replaced. You might actually be better off just installing a nano-USB Bluetooth adapter -- you'll get a more up to date Bluetooth version that internally, and save yourself replacing the internal card.

Basically, if off, turn on, if on, turn off, start, stop and then turn back on.

Will nano device support a wireless mouse input as well as audio output?

Welcome to the Dell Community @Tipstet1947
Have you checked your BIOS settings?
If there is an option to Enable/Disable Bluetooth make sure it is Enabled!
If it is Enabled then DISABLE it!
Save and EXIT.
Boot into W10 OS.
Shutdown.
Boot into BIOS again and ENABLE the Bluetooth.
Save, Exit, Boot into W10 and test.

Thanks - definitely good plan, unless Dell's self diagnostic and repair system works. It's running now. I also will read other suggestion regarding bios, though that may be above my skill level.

Sorry - I saw nothing that looked like Bluetooth in BIOS settings.
Is the Bluetooth on the same card as the WIFI?
What if anything does it man that the Bluetooth light is on, on the keyboard?

I explored the BIOS without luck.
I've ordered a mini Bluetooth receiver.
Still puzzled that Bluetooth mouse had been working initially.
Is the Bluetooth on the same card as the WIFI?
What if anything does it man that the Bluetooth light is on, on the keyboard?
Could it be as simple as a loose connection?
