Replace adapter fro 7577 .
Can i use adapter which is the same out put voltage 19.5 V but higher amperage 12.3 A ( instead of 9.23 A) for my dell 7577 . Here is spec. of adapters : New adapter : input : 100-240V , 3.5A ; output : 19.5V, 12.3A. Old adapter : input : 100-240V , 2.34A ; output : 19.5V, 9.23A . Thanks !

Yes you can use the 19.5V, 9.23A "180 Watt" adapter with no problems.
Volts x Amps = Watts
I use a 19.5V, 12.3A "240 Watt" adapter on my bench for testing all Dell laptops.
Since it is a "SMART" AC adapter the computer will draw only what current it needs.
You can go higher but never go lower.

It should have a center pin like this.

Thank U2 for your response my concern . Actually, I want to use the 19.5V, 12.3A instead of the 19.5V, 9.3A . Voltage is similar but higher amperage . Moreover, how can i know that my new adapter is "smart"
