Settings won't open

Hey guys, so apparently this is kind of a common thing from what I've read.. I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 and my settings app won't open. Whenever I click on it, I just get the pop up like it's loading but then it automatically closes. I've tried everything I've read online and nothing seems to work for me, any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Hello, On Windows 10 you should be able to open the settings by using the windows key + i also you can try to press the windows key +r to open the run dialog and typing ms-settings into the run dialog and click ok .
