Smartbyte kills internet speeds

I have had issues with Smartbyte killing video on my laptop since shortly after I purchased it 2 years ago. Typically I can only load videos at 360p when it's enabled. I discovered if I stopped it's services buffering stopped. When it's stopped I can run 1080p videos with no issues. I've been disabling it as it restarts itself over the last few months without issue. However, after the latest Dell update if I stop the process I lose the internet connectivity completely. I cannot reach any website at all. How can I disable this software and not brick my internet now?
