Support Assist not working

Question

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron Windows 10 laptop. When I try to run Support Assist, it won't open.

I get a message that says: This is taking longer than expected, please restart your computer and try again.

I have restarted my computer five times, but the program will not open.

How can I fix this?

Thank you for the information Adrian! I will check this out. But I have reinstalled SupportAssist many times, only to have the problem reoccur.
