SupportAssist and Bios disagree
Inspiron AIO gets stuck at logo/spinning balls. SupportAssist extended diagnostics say all components are fine. F2 Bios doesn't show my SATA . What gives? No internet access for over a year on this machine

Have you tried a full diagnostic run by tapping F12 immediately at boot? As mentioned in your other post it is possible for the drive to test good but in fact need replacing. If you are curious, pick up another SATA SSD, they are rather inexpensive, and install the drive into the system. If the BIOS detects it then you have your answer. At that point clean install Windows and set it up for the kids to use with their games. You can download Windows 10 media creation tool here. Just curious, you mentioned legacy in your prior post. Did you try switching that over to UEFI?

I started in UEFI. Switched to legacy after more than a few attempts to reboot. The full diagnostic says it's all in working order. Tried the disconnecting of the drive and reconnecting. Everything points to drive failure.....except that diagnostic
