The power adaptor attached to your system is not recognised. Attach a supported power adaptor with at least 65 watts.

This is the second time i had this problem. Replaced the adaptor first time under coverage. Same problem this time after 6 months again. This is so frustrating! Battery percentage is stuck at a point when plugged in. Not going up or down. I dont get what the actual problem is. Is it the laptop itself or power supply or something else?

The issue is likely with the power adapter or DC input jack.  If it was resolved last time by replacing the power adapter, you may consider replacing it as the first troubleshoot resolution.

Dell uses a propriety design with power signal verification in BIOS, either the center pin in power connector is damaged or faulty firmware chip that caused the error.  When the power adapter is not recognized, the BIOS will downclock the processor to minimum and blocks the charging circuit from charging the battery.

Sometimes, the issue is resolved by itself with a reboot and a firm connection at the power port.  The adapter will be recognized and function again.

You must provide specific system model for further seeking help from community as the same question and solution can be benefit to others with similar issue.
