Unable to install USB Mass Storage Device driver
I am using Inspiron 3593 and it came preinstalled with Win 10. I upgraded to Win 11 when the pop up came from Win Update. Post that I am unable to load/play any mass storage device like usb pen drive or usb external hard drive.
In device manager, it gives this error
Clicking on Update driver and then search automatically for drivers gives this error:
I have updated all drivers from support assist and win update. This same error happens for any external storage device.

Welcome to the Dell Community @AdiRulz
When doing W11 updates make sure to look at the "Optional" updates.
Are there any other warnings in Device Manager???
Best regards,

Hey U2CAMEB4ME,
Yes, I checked for optional updates in Win update and also in Dell support assist because generally in window releases not all drivers/devices are supported initially. USB mass storage should have been released by Windows initially since its critical. There are no updates till now.
As of now its just this warning that comes up in Device Manager.
And the USB controllers are also fine.
Tried installing/reinstalling these 3 drivers too but they failed during the installation stage.

Another thing when I upgraded to Win 11 back in Oct, my Bluetooth and Android phone connected via USB were also giving similar issues. About a month ago these suddenly started working. (probably after some win updates).
