Unexpected shutdown on GPU high load when using battery
I have new (less then 3 weeks) Dell G5 5587 laptop with nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6144 Mb GPU.
When I do some CUDA on GPU, it utilizes about all GPU memory ~5800 Mb and GPU consumes about 60W of power, the temperature of GPU is about 65C, When the laptop is connected to power, everething is fine, but when it uses battery it's shutting down after few seconds of work, it shuts down without any system error, but just like disconnected from power. It seems there is not enough power in battery to give to GPU.
Is it a known issue or it's a defect and I can fix it in a service?

You should only be using it with the AC adapter connected. When on battery only, the PC and OS power management takes over. Go into the power management settings in settings power and sleep. Make changes that meet your criteria in this section. Click additional power power settings. Chose the options on the left side and select the criteria on the right for each one.

Hello. Was this ever resolved?
I have a new Dell 5587 that wont run games for more than a few minutes then crash with blue screen and nVidia driver has error 43. Sometimes takes several steps to re-install driver.
LAptop was already sent back to Dell and no improvement.
