Reinstall the USB Drivers
The "USB device keeps disconnecting and reconnecting Windows 10" error could be caused by faulty USB drivers. To resolve it, uninstall and reinstall your USB drivers as follows: Press Win + X and select Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section.

I have the same issue on business' computer and its downright embarrassing. During important meetings, my mic shuts down, my audio shuts down, random monitors shut down. This is  a $4000 computer and it is the worst one I have ever used. I've tried everything to fix it and nothing works. Unfortunately, its provided by my employer.

Same problem exactly.   The headset works flawlessly during testing or watching videos.
I get into a meeting, and start talking, and the headset drops.   I've tried 3 different headsets, 2 cheapo ones, and high end one.  All 3 do exactly the same thing, yet, they work fine on other computers.

Same for me
Company computer
Problems started after a Dell Update, somewhere this past October

When I plug my Logitech e570 headset directly into a USB port on the side of my Latitude 7420, the Sound card deactivates (There is a red "x" on the sound icon). If I plug the same headset into a StarTech.com [DKT30CHVAUSP] mini-hub (extender) the headset works just fine, but like others have reported it, the mic stops in the middle of a Teams (or Zoom) meeting. When this happens, I have to unplug/plug the headset and it works until it stops again 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes after (times vary)

Very annoying
...and Windows cannot detect any problems with any audio devices

Hi,

It is Feb 2024 and I am facing the same issue with my Inspiron 3581 at work. This is very annoying in my meetings. I wonder if anyone in the community has found a solution for it sine 2022. Any comments highly appreciated.

Cheers

Precision 3570 here.  I found this thread on Microsoft Community that may be helpful.  I skipped options 1 and 2 for now, but option 3, unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on all USB Root Hub devices in device manager, seems to have helped.  I noticed changes to display settings would stutter and usually cause all USB devices to go out.  That isn't happening now, and even the display changes themselves are much, much snappier.  I'll post again if I have any other issues, but so far so good.

I also have the same problem. USBs are disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver, I unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option. Nothing helped. Any driver update?
