using 2400 with 2666 ram
i have upgraded ram in my dell 5570
the original ram is 2400 , i added 2666 , the laptop is working good now
is this may damage my laptop ?

If its working (and you are lucky mixed memory is working) you are OK. However it will only run at the speed of the slowest memory.

Shouldn't really be an issues as long as all the other specs are the same such a voltage and type of memory. But the faster RAM doesn't mean it will run at that speed. The specs for the motherboard and chipset determine the maximum Ram speed. Typically you can check in bios to make sure it is detected properly. If it is, and you experience no problems then it should be fine.
