W key not working properly

Question

Just pressing this key in either lower or upper case normally does not work.

I have to press really hard and sharp after I discover that under normal typing it did not work. Very annoying.

Any ideas?

Inspiron 17 5000 series.

Try the Keyboard Troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot. What also might work is to go into Device Manager, reached by right clicking the Start button, choose the Keyboard device, on Driver tab try Updating the driver automatically.
