Will upgrading my SSD void warranty?
I have a Inspiron 3501 with a 256gb SSD, after a little bit research, I found that it have a empty SATA slot.
Now my question is, will add another SSD to the SATA slot affect my warranty? Or will upgrading my M2 SSD affect warranty?

No, it won't -- but you will need to purchase the mounting hardware for a 2.5" drive

Also, bear in mind that if you install both an NVMe and a 2.5" drive, the NVMe must be the boot device.

Is the mounting hardware needed if I am trying to install a SATA SSD?
