Window installation in safe mode
Hi all, I have an issue with my Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1. I started my laptop in safe mode to remove some unwanted software. I was unable to login when my laptop booted up in safe mode with my regular key.
Then i tried to factory reset it, in which installation was not completed due to safe mode. Error message "Windows cannot complete installation in safe mode. To continue installing Windows, restart the computer" is being displayed. I tried to restart but still same message is shown again and again. Please help me.

Hi
I am having the same issue. Were you able to resolve yours? IF so, how?

So I just figured that "Shift+F10" works. The only catch is that on some laptops you have to press
"Shift + Fn + F10"

While that error message is popped, I pressed Shift + fn + F10, which brought up a console application.
In there I entered
bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot
Then I typed "exit" and pressed OK. That restarted the PC and continued with setup.
