Windows Hello Face 14 7400
Hi, Can anyone help,
I have just purchased a Dell Inspiron 14 7400 laptop, the advisor on chat said that this laptop supports Windows Hello Face but in the Sign-In options the Windows Hello Face says, "We could not find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face". I know there is a support page that lists supported devices and does not include this laptop however, I wonder if this is out of date. The main reason is that in Device Manager under Biometric there was a Device Driver, Driver provider Windows Hello Face and version 10.0.19041.844. I have deleted this following one of the advice pages I found in the hope that it will reinstall with the Dell update unfortunately this has not been the case. I have scanned for hardware changes on the Device Manager page and no device is found with an exclamation mark.
So I now have two issues, the first is where I can find a driver to manually install, not available on the Dell Drivers page. The second issue is how to get the Windows Hello Face to work?
Thanks

That model has a basic HD camera, not the one needed for Hello. Only high end laptops have the required camera.
