Active directory migration
Hi
I wonder what is best practice when you are performing a active directory migration between two AD forests and Isilon does not support sid history if im right.
We have a huge amount of data on Isilon, do we have to re-permission all data in advance or is there another better approach?
Yeah, I meant an external LDAP that the Isilon was also mapping to. That would have made your life much easier... because then you could map both ADs' accounts to the LDAP accounts and transition that way (that's how we did it). Not exactly best practices, but it worked for the most part.

Do you also have ldap? And how are your on-disk permissions set?
