De-duplication on SMB Shares
Hi, Need suggestion to enable de-duplication on SMB Shares, de-dupe is disabled on all shares. We have a 15node cluster (practically 12node, remaining 3node is used for Backup) overall capacity of 1PB with used capacity of 850TB with 20zones and each zone having close to 30shares. Need suggestion to enable de-duplication and the implication of enabling also any estimate on how much space we will be recovering. Thanks, Sridhar

Try the dedupe assessment on a path forst and seee what savings you get.
