Dobi Miner migration pair shows source(VNX) read only after initial sync
when I initiate the first copy from the VNX to ISILON using DObi Miner migration pair the "source Status" column typically shows "original". But for one of the pair it shows "Read Only" which I wasn't expecting until the cutover( final sync)
As per the logs I don't see any hint of the source going "read only" during the sync period.
When I get in to the full migration cycle I don't want see such surprise or causing any outage. How this can be checked further.

Hi SKT,
Am I understanding correctly that you are seeing the "Read Only" on the VNX side? If that is the case, I would recommend checking with DobiMiner first. They do provide level 1 and 2 support for EMC products. You may also consider opening a ticket with VNX to collaborate with DobiMiner.
If I am mistaken and you believe the issue is with Isilon, you can open a ticket with Isilon Support. It is recommended that you start with DobiMiner. The only documentation I was able to find on it was instruction for employees that customers should start with DobiMiner first, but if they don't, how to contact them to collaborate.

Indeed this is something that I would suggest you or your DellEMC or partner PS resource open a ticket with us on. The act of performing a first copy has no effect on source share or export settings, which is the only place that you'd ever see a source marked as 'read-only'.
