F800 and H600 can be added in single cluster
Hello All,
Can we add f800 and h600 in one cluster, imagine F800 being one node pool and H600 being another node pool
-Thanks

Absolutely, as long as you have at least a minimum number of nodes per type (4), and and the same back-end network type on the nodes (IB or Ethernet).

Nothing prevents them from working together in a single cluster.

Hi Chris, One more Question
Which is better to be in backend, is it ethernet switch or infiniband switch
also If we have F800 and H600 in same cluster, if we connect the clients to H600 nodes and using smartpool, we make sure data stays in H600 nodes, will F800 CPU/Disk and Threads etc resources will also be used?
Let's say will there be a difference in Performance measurement, if we test our clients only with separate F800 cluster and separate H600 cluster and Combination of both F800 and H600
