H400 Isilon not restarting after failed patch

I've been trying for weeks to install the Isilon 8.1.2.0-GA_RUP-2020-06_272854 patch, but for some reason the patch would only show "Installing" and the old patch from May would go into AdHoc. It had been that way for almost 24 hours, before I finally decided to abort the patch and uninstall it. When I do the uninstall, the isilon cluster never went into the automatic reboot. I've ben racking my brain and the web to find any solutions to this issue. I have to install this patch on our isilon for testing purposes. Any ideas?
