How to test LACP
Hi,
I have chosen NIC aggregation (LACP) while configuring IP address pool, and my network team said that they configured link aggregation on the connected ports to the switch.
Now i just want to understand how to test whether LACP is working properly or not? how to test it whether LACP configuration is correct on ISILON nodes and switch? How to confirm this ? Any simple test we can do to confirm the same ?
Thanks & Regards,
Shashi Kanth

A test you can consider is to do as follows:
1) Start a file transfer via the IP representing the LACP port group you are testing. (sFTP, SMB, or NFS)
2) Disconnect all but one cable of the LACP port group being tested
3) Verify file transfer throughout
4) Reconnect each of the cables
5) Pause briefly to allow the link to reestablish
6) Go to step 2 and repeat until you have verified each individual interface
You could also replace the file transfer in step 1 with a constant ping.
