Yes, you can change easily from local datastore to a NFS export.
You would need to stop insightIQ services, copy over the datastore to isilon, start the insightIQ services again and finally point InsightIQ to use the new datastore on isilon.
The new version of insightIQ should support exports to CSV files.
Version 2.5.1 is out now and has CSV output options. However, it is is only for the perf data right now. If this is a feature you need, please contact your SE and have them enter a feature request.

not actually an export, but close: you can do any SQL query (even to CSV format) after
sqlite3 /ifs/.ifsvar/modules/fsa/pub/latest/results.db .schema
