InsightIQ 3.01 -> 4.0 datastore Import path on fresh install
G'Day to the minds of the world!
Ok, so I rushed and installed a fresh .ova VM of InsightIQ4.0 and didn't think about the migration of the existing datastore data from InsightIQ3.01.
While I've managed to save the original datastore, and re-added it to the sandbox'ed VM of InsightIQ3.01, I just cannot seem to find; ie Google, how to export the 3.01 data to re-import into 4.0.
Would I be better suited to terminate the v4.0 newly installed .ova and restore the 3.01 to live then upgrade the install within the VM on 3.01? or can there be another way???
Both sites are running OneFS 7.2.1.1 also if it helps with #19 nodes total.
Any assistance rendered with be returned with *many thanks* and a quiet praise and admiration.

Hello,
InsightIQ needs to follow the database upgrade path in order for this to work. The upgrade path is:
3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.2 -> 4.0
There are database conversions between 3.0 and 3.1, and also between 3.1 and 3.2. There is no database conversion to 4.0; however, there is no way to upgrade the databases from 3.1 to 4.0, so the stop at 3.2 is necessary. The compatibility guide for this can be found here:

Ooops.....might have to re-run 3.01 for a bit then close it out and live with 4.0 from then on.
