Hello Farhad80,

Here is a link to How to set up a new Isilon cluster with a 10 GbE external network, I would double check your setup to make sure it done correctly.

 Hi @PhilLam ,

Yes i tried setting VLAN enabled to false - that didnt work either

VLAN enabled is set to true and the VLAN ID is also set and matches the VLAN that is on the network switch

It's very odd - when i run isi network interface list i see that the ports are up and are connected but the MAC address is not being advertised on the network switch.

I've also tried rebooting a few of the nodes but haven't had any luck as of yet.

@Farhad80,

Connect to another 10g switch that you know that works.

@PhilLam

The islilon is currently connected to 4 different network switches - all that are actively serving other clients

None of the 10GB ports are working or pinging

@Farhad80,

Maybe MTU is wrong?

Did it ever work before? If yes then make an SR, if no then you may need Isilon PS. I can't think of anything else.

Any updates, I'm curious of what was the issue.

Yes - this was resolved.

The issue was that the ports on the network switch side needed to be hard coded to 10GB instead of auto.

once we made that change the ports came up and everything worked as expected.
