Isilon cluster as a DFS namespace
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to configure my Isilon cluster as a DFS Namespace within AD?

The Isilon can only be a DFS leaf (not Domain root).

That's correct, you can join the cluster TO the domain, but DFS roots are serviced by Domains Controllers
