Isilon & Microsoft MMC and RBAC

Question

Hello,

I have got a few questions about using Microsoft MMC on Isilon.

1) Is it possible to manage quotas with MMC?

2) Is it possible to restrict the use of MMC to specific users per Accesszone?
For Example:

User fileadmin1 can manage only Access Zone "filer1" with MMC

User fileadmin2 can manage only Access Zone "filer2" with MMC

3) Is it also possible to restrict admins to specific Access Zone using RBAC?

Quotas are not managed via the MMC today.

Yes. Access to the MMC is controlled by being in the local Administrators group which is per Access Zone.

RBAC is currently cluster-wide. This is a roadmap item. You would need to contact your local account team for details around that.
