Hi jerm,

On the Isilon, whomever creates the file is the owner of the file. There is not a good way to change that automatically on the Isilon cluster itself.

There is an option to manually change the owner using the chown command. Depending on your workflow, that could be incredibly tedious without some sort of script. Scripts are at your own risk, and not covered under Isilon Support.

You do also have the option of working with your account team to create a feature request.
