Virtual Isilon isn't "time-bombed" or anything of the sort. It's a fully functional OneFS instance, running as a VM. Run it as long as you like.
Enjoy using it, and have fun. Please let us here in the community know what you think of the experience.
Cheers
Rob
p.s. I personally don't like the term 'simulator'. This is not a simulator, this is the real OneFS code image. It just happens to be running as a VM rather than on bare metal. The only difference is no physical IB.
Rob is correct, the simulator is a fully functioning OneFS instance, however as per the thank you email you received after the download, the advanced features can only be unlocked by requesting a 30 day evaluation licence key from your SE or sales rep.
