PowerScale Antivirus CAVA
doing a poc with PowerScale and TrendMicro antivirus using CAVA configuration for SMB scanning. We previously were using ICAP. I have my environment setup with on access scanning. Problem I'm facing is recovering a quarantined file from Trend. I receive a restoring the file failed message. Not sure where it's trying to restore to. I've verified the service account can write to original paths from Trend windows servers.
What's the procedure to recover a quarantined file from the antivirus?
Should Trend Server be able to restore a quarantined file back to its original location?
Would it be to the original Isilon path location where the file lived or the CHECK$ directory where CAVA gets the file from?

It probably can’t restore the file to the original location due to permissions. The best way is to restore the file from backup.
