PowerScale/Isilon with Chromebooks
Looking for some help on creating an SMB share or NFS export where Chromebooks would have anonymous access to the folder or share. How do I get this to work as the Chromebooks will be going around AD security.
Google indicated that the Guest local ID needs to be enabled and to also allow impersonation of the Guest user.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Try setting the file share with the FQDN and either anonymous or guest username. Enabling Kerberos may also help. https://dell.to/3X8sdGS

Thanks Josh. Do you know if we need to do anything Chromebook-specific on the Isilon to get this to work?

There shouldn't be, it should treat it like any other SMB device.
