Serial Console or KVM for Isilon nodes
We have Isilon cluster on remote unmanned site. Last week during node firmware upgrade and then this week during disk firmware upgrade a node would reboot and never come back.
We have 32000x-ssd and X400 nodes - can we attach serial console or KVM to them and which is better ? Is there a way for remote power management ?

Use the serial console port - KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) is not supported, see the recent thread on "New NL400s".
Though newer nodes do have a physical IPMI port, I have never seen an announcement or document about using it for actual remote power management..
