Unable to get LDAP working on InsightIQ 4.2.0.86
LDAP configuration accepts all entries and I'm able to add a read only user group. I also added an AD user account to the group. However, I'm not able to log in using that account. I keep getting "Log in attempt failed. Please try again". In our environment, after 3 unsuccessful attempts the account would get locked. But not doing so in this case which seems to indicate it's not even trying to authenticate against AD.
I also came across an earlier post on this forum regarding this issue with InsightIQ 4.1. I would expect this had been corrected in 4.2.
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

This was a new install. After much trial and error playing with the distinguished names for each entry, I was able to get it to work. On the entry for base search, I entered just the DC name and got it to work.

Thanks for your question. Do other users still work fine when you login? Was this upgraded from 4.1 or a new install?
