UNKNOWN user/computer @ isi statistics client
Hello All, maybe someone got the same issue like I have. sometimes I'm facing the problem that my cluster (only smb, lot of users doing random workflows with i guess office files) got a high cpu load. So i always try to keep an eye on conected clients by using isi statistic client --orderby=Ops -t. The output shown me a lot of UNKNOWN users/remotecomputers at the top, between them also some usernames I could allocate. But no chance to get the UNKNOWN users. Do someone have a clou how I could get these users? regards Alexander

OneFS statistics is only looking up or caching a limited number of user names per sampling interval,
but the numerical UserID field should have accurate information.

Solution :
Isilon stores 1024 user name records for each 15-second window. An UNKNOWN user name is not included in the 1024 records for the window in which the command was issued.
