Upgrade from 8.0.0.3 to 8.0.1.1
Hello
This is my first topic, i have en cluster with nodes and have run RpSisiHealth, but I do not know which order I should do it, I can see that CMC (what is that) is not updated, node firmware is also missing on some nodes, and bxe patch must be installed and rebot nodes.
Please help me.

CMC - Chassis Management Controller
BMC - Board Management Controller
Updating firmwares and OneFS should be done in a specific sequence,
take a look at KB466373 which was just updated last week:
S210, X210, X410, NL410 or HD400 shows event: 'Node's Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and/or Chassis Management Controller (CMC) are unresponsive.'

There is a detailed guide on how to upgrade your Cluster.
http://www.emc.com/collateral/TechnicalDocument/docu69989.pdf
Also Check the OneFS 8.0.1 Info Hub.
https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-44007
If you have urgent issues - contact the support asap. It's quite impossible to Support via ECN with in a short amount of time.

From KB 466373, search for the USB stick image and it should go to the below ftp site.
1) Download the USB stick image and write it to a blank USB stick using the instructions in KB Article 323035 How to create a bootable image of OneFS on a USB flash drive. Once created, this USB stick can be used to update firmware on an unlimited number of affected nodes.

Please schedule a downtime. The CE would have to reboot the affected nodes.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Which model are you trying to update?

@basefx , if on OneFS greater than 8.0.0.2, per KB 466373 https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000041523 :
is the name of the installed firmware package shown in the previous step (see the firmware release notes document for further details):
Step 6a: If you are running OneFS 8.0.0.2 or newer and want to update through the OneFS Node Firmware Update process, follow the below steps - otherwise, skip to 'Step 6b: Update the BMC firmware using the USB firmware update stick image' further down.
1) Check for any previously installed node firmware packages using the following command:
# isi upgrade patches list
If there are no previously installed node firmware packages listed, you may skip the next step.
2) If a regular node firmware package is still installed, uninstall it using the following command, where
# isi upgrade patches uninstall
3) Download the special BMC node firmware package here, and place it in the /ifs/data directory on the cluster.
4) Run the following command to install the BMC node firmware package on the cluster:
# isi upgrade patches install /ifs/data/IsiFw_Package_BMC_v1.0.tar
The command should respond that the firmware package was successfully installed.
5) Once the firmware package is installed, start updating the BMC firmware on the cluster:
# isi upgrade cluster firmware start
6) Once the nodes have finished rebooting and the BMC firmware update process is complete, uninstall the BMC firmware update package:
# isi upgrade patches uninstall IsiFw_Package_BMC_v1.0
Step 6b: Update the BMC firmware on affected nodes using the USB firmware update stick image. This process should be used if your cluster is running a version of OneFS older than 8.0.0.2, or if you choose to use the USB stick update method in lieu of updating through OneFS. If you already updated using the instructions provided in step 6a above, skip these instructions and go straight to step 7.
