vaai plugin 1.1 release notes and OneFS 7.0

try to configure VAAI plugin 1.1 with OneFS 7.0.2.4 and beeing confused about the information of document docu50124_VAAI-NAS-Plug-In-for-Isilon-1.1-Release-Notes.pdf the release notes should be valid for OneFS 7.0 or later, for later version it is valid - was able to configure it successfully I should create user VMwareUser and add it to role VMwareAdmin but role VMwareAdmin isn't predefined in this OneFS version by default like in OneFS 7.1.0.0 I don't want to use the root account. Is there a recommended solution for OneFS 7.0.x ?

The VMwareAdmin role was not introduced until 7.1.

I was trying to see if you could create a user that has the following roles:

ISI_PRIV_LOGIN_PAPI

ISI_PRIV_SMARTPOOLS

ISI_PRIV_SNAPSHOT

ISI_PRIV_SYNCIQ

ISI_PRIV_CONFIG_MISC

ISI_PRIV_NETWORK_FRONT

ISI_PRIV_VCENTER

ISI_PRIV_NS_TRAVERSE

ISI_NS_IFS_ACCESS

I did not find much on it, so I consulted with our team and they told me: 'the only solution available for 7.0.X is to use root.'

thx for time you are spending. I spend several hours on my vlab to find out a dedicated solution for OneFS 7.0.x without success.

at middle of february 2014 the new VAAI Plugin 1.1 release notes was published but the same wrong information about OneFS Version 7.0.x still exist. disappointing
