5150 Minimum power input requirements
The power output on the supply is 130W, 19.5V for the 5150, but I'd like to purchase a more compact power supply that I can carry around. I've found a 120W one that will fit the bill in all other aspects, but I need to know if 120 is enough to make this beast sing.

I recon it ought to work (physically) as the machine supports up to 3.2 GHz. If you dont have a wireless card there is at least 10W saved. But....it is actually the BIOS that IDs the adapter, and it probably stalls if it detects the wrong one...
The D-series senses whether you are running 65 or 90W PSUs and will create errors if it sees it as a problem (ex. when docked)
Best of luck m8!
