Are you referring to the Volume buttons above the keyboard, near the power button. If those buttons are not working, Installing the Quickset Applications helps.
I have the quick set application and there is nothing in there to indicate how to set the sound buttons to work. And yes, i am referring to the volume buttons above the keyboard.
I used to work an dI have no clue why they are not anymore.
