Battery Not Charging!!!

So, I turned on my Studio 1535 today and went outside to do some work on my patio, then the battery shows up as 4% five minutes in after being charged all night.  So I ran to plug it in suspecting maybe I hadn't inserting the power cord all the way, but alas, it says "4% available (plugged in, not charging)."  I've noticed the power light above the jack has four quickly blinking and dim orange lights in between white flashes.  So is my battery messed or could the solution be simple.  I'd hate to replace something on a 1.5 year old laptop that I spent $900 on and keep in great shape.

ANY help, please!?
