bios update, black screen cant do anything...

I am not having a good day. I reinstalled windows and was downloading everything that I needed, updated my Nvida then installed the Bios update for my computer from dell.com (Inspiron 8500) The it said must restart computer.. so it restarted and it was just a black screen.. so start up window.. nothing just a black screen.. I dont know what to do...I tried inserting the windows disc but nothing happens. I really need some help.. Thanks guys...

Yea, I am sure that replacing the motherboard would work..I think I may try doing that down the road when I can afford it. I wonder if there is any way I could get a bios chip soldered in, but from what I heard before you cant do that will dell's motherboards. Has anyone here ever bought a referbished motherboard from ebay? I am thinking of taking that route down the rode once I get the cash.

Yes, I bought one from Ebay that  arrived working and 3 that were advertised as nonworking that did not. One of the Nonworking is now ok and in this C800.
 It needed a resistor replaced on the M,Board. Some M'Boards Dell uses have socketed chips, but even those are nearly impossible to locate for replacement, as Dell does not sell those as parts. The Soldered ones are impossible to find, period, and replacing them is a job for an experienced tech with Surface Soldering Technology  Equipment. Find a board that has a guarantee if it does not work.
