C600 LCD not detected
Hello,
A while ago, I started having the problem that, occasionally,
switching on my Latitude C600 would result in a quick blink of a
cursor in the top left of the screen and then it would power
down (i.e. no Dell logo).
Now, the screen has started going blank sometimes when I am
using the laptop and it usually comes back on after a while, or
when I press the Fn-LCD/CRT button.
It seems that the LCD isn't being detected, but I am pretty sure
that the backlight is working, so does that mean that the
inverter board is OK?
Does anyone know whether this is likely to be a problem with the graphics board, or the LCD cable?
Thank you,
Peter.

Often when the laptop is switched on (and something does appear on the screen), the image is scaled to fill the whole display rather than the usual behaviour of having the text-mode occupying a box in the center.
Does anyone have an idea why this might happen?
Thanks,
Pete.
