Cleaning the built-in touchpad button.

The mouse button on a fairly new Inspiron 1200 is acting like it's got a piece of sand or grime in it. What would be the best way to clean this?

Try a can of compressed air before considering anything more drastic . . . it will often take care of crumbs, dust, etc. without need for more involved measures.
