Default M4800 Doesnt start after Ram Upgrade

I recently ordered
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model 997067 - Newegg.com
to upgrade ram on DELL M4800.

When installed it doesn't let the Laptop to boot. Newegg says this is compatible but the product doesn't.I'm sure I installed it properly. By any chance, did I receive a defective product ? or is the product incompatible unlike Newegg's Memory finder suggestion ?

Newegg charges $15 restocking fee, so I would like to make sure i'm not doing something wrong before before returning it.

Hi nvrphanikumar,

Sorry for the delayed response. The system board is designed to meet only DDR3L memory voltage and that may be the reason for RAM not working.

Hi nvrphanikumar,

Dell Precision M4800 is compatible with DDR3L clock speed 1600 MHz and 1866 MHz memory modules. The maximum memory is 16GB for Intel Core i5 and i7 Dual Core processors. The maximum memory is 32GB for Intel Core i7 Quad Core and i7 Quad Extreme processors.

I realized the one I bought is DDR3 not DDR3L .However the voltage this laptop accepts is 1.5 V.

so i'm assuming this 1.5 V DDR3 Ram shouldn't be a problem.
