Dell Inspiron 14 Black Screen and _ Error
Hi Sir/Madam,
I would like to ask about the company's laptop. Whenever we shutdown or leave it open that will lead to hibernation then we turn it on, it shows only black screen and _ symbol. Please help me to troubleshoot this problem.

Hi,
If the system goes into hibernation mode it is because the settings have been set to the same to save power. Now regarding the black screen and _symbol then I would ask you to initiate hardware diagnostics on the system by restarting the system, then press the F12 key on startup.
Also confirm if any recent changes (hardware/software) have been made to the system.
And what is the operating system installed on the system, also do send the service tag of the system via private message so that I can check the specifications to assist you further.
