dell inspiron 2650 keyboard shift key [typing Q and Z] problem

​my os is windows xp home. i mut have done something. now, when i press the shift key to capitalize a letter, I get the letter z [left shift] or Q [right shift]. it happens anytime i press the shift key. any thoughtsz? QSeeZ? thanks. dan carter​
