Dell Latitude D620 Laptop Won't Boot

My Dell Latitude D620 laptop decided to blue screen on me while I was doing some work in Excel. However when I reboot it makes it to the Black screen showing Windows XP loading and I get the following blue screen:

"UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME"

Technical Information:

***STOP: 0X000000ED (0X86B83E30, 0X0000006, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

I try booting into safe mode and all other configurations and get this same message.

-----------

I Google the issue and see I probably just need to the chkdsk /r thing. I change the boot order to my CD in setup and put in my Windows XP cd. I click to boot from cd and it begins to enter Windows setup.
Windows setup takes about a minute to go through all of the files it normally loads. However, as soon as it gets to "Setup is Starting Windows" I get a new blue screen that has the following information on it:

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF76130BF, 0XF7A5F208, 0XF7A5EF08)

*** pci.sys - Address F76130BF base at F760C000, DateStamp 3b7d855c

------------

So I can't get into the repair function which means I can't do anything at this point. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

99.9% or better probability is that the hard drive is toast.  To confirm, power on, press F12, load the Dell diagnostics and run an extended - not just a quick - test.  The drive will almost certainly fail.  You will need  a new 2.5" 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive to replace it.
