Dell Vosto 1400 Graphic card failure
Hi,
My laptop has vertical lines on display from moment i turn it on. In background everything is ok, even hear when Vista loads up..
What I have to do? how much is replacement- if any?? Its a 128 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GS

There's no video card - fortunately the warranty will cover the necessary mainboard replacement (which would run $400-500 otherwise). The system uses a known-faulty nVidia chip and Dell has added an additional year of coverage to whatever you selected at the time of purchase, so the replacement will be covered:
