Drivers Not Installing Correctly?
Hello,
I have just done a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit of my Dell Inspiron N4110.
I went straight to Dell's Drivers and Downloads online and found my laptop model, and Windows version and proceeded to download the drivers that I thought I needed.
I am downloading from another computer, putting on a USB, and installing from that USB to my Inspiron N4110. I double click the Application I downloaded. What happens is that I receive a message saying that I "successfully unzipped" the files. It doesn't seem like the driver actually installed, and I can't quite figure out how to install the downloaded drivers I got from the Dell website.
Am I downloading the wrong drivers? Or am I supposed to be installing a different way?
Also, can someone point me to which exact drivers I need to download for my laptop model? There seem to be multiple drivers under each category. The link is here:

Click on System Configuration to find the details of your system. The drivers needed for your particular components were listed in the previous step.

Hello! So if the drivers are unzipped without using administrator privileges then it will only unzip them and not launch the installer. Your files should be under C:\Dell. Also if you click here, this page will have the correct order for you. In terms of what files that depends on what was installed on your computer, example what graphics card or wireless card and that I can't answer.

Thank you for your reply! Interesting, when I searched for drivers using my service tag, the list of drivers was narrowed down A LOT more than the list I sent in my previous post.
How can I figure out what graphics card, wireless card, or audio system I have installed? And to take that a step further, once I know them, how do I determine which drivers are needed?
Would I be able to provide the Hardware Ids in the Device Manager to be able to figure out which driver file is needed?

The device that I need to install drivers on does not yet have internet access. Instead, I put in my Service Tag and the list of drivers was narrowed. Here is the link of drivers based on my Service Tag:
www.dell.com/.../drivers
Am I supposed to just download and install all the drivers from that list?
Also, is there a particular order I need to install them in?
Here are the Hardware Ids in my Device Manager:
Ethernet Controller: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_04D7102&REV_05
Network Controller: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_008A&SUBSYS_53258086&REV_34

Always kind of hesitant to start downloading drivers randomly. Thank you!
