E 1505 Battery

​ Hey i have a question, i use my E 1505 with the power cord connected to it, so it will not die on me. But im going to have to take this to classes soon, so does keeping the power cord in damage to battery in anyway so that when i do need to take my laptop with me that the battery will not damaged? ​
