e1505 Memory Help

I'm not sure if E1505 mothboard supports dual channel memory. I think it does because it came with 2 sticks. If it does support dual channel, then your 2 512MB memory not only size adds up (512+512=1GB), but also bandwise adds up (533mhz*2=1066MHz). So the front buss bandwise only 677MHz, your system will fine. Call Dell hardware support to make sure.

If you wanna buy a 1GB pc5300 667MHz RAM, You can sell these 2 sticks on ebay. I received my E1505 las week with ntel Core Duo T2300 and one 512MB, 533MHz RAM (it is not dual channel setting).

you might want to check your e1505 again, I think all are dual channel. I have 2 sticks of 512 @ 533 and am upgrading to 2g @ 667 from Dell
